DLC Calls on the Social Development Minister to intervene in pensioners non paymentson grants in March 2023

Democratic Liberal Congress (DLC) Leader Patrick Pillay said that thousands of people did not receive their pensions for the month of March 2023 due to an unprecedented hiccup with SASSA payment system.

This have placed them in a very unfortunate financial situation whereby many pensioners depend on their pension to pay their utility accounts and buy food for their families.

The DLC, therefore calls on the Minister of Social Development to urgently intervene to address this mishap, restore dignity to all our pensioners and prevent their electricity from being disconnected.
